Carvolution’s all-inclusive car subscription is flexible and affordable. Its flexibility lies mainly in the ability to adjust your monthly kilometre package. How you can save money, what to keep in mind when adjusting the package, and more – you’ll find all the details in this blog.

What kilometre packages are available?

The smallest kilometre package starts at 350 km per month, while the largest offers 3,250 km.

The following options are available in between:

350 km | 850 km | 1,250 km | 1,850 km | 2,500 km | 3,250 km

Compared to leasing, the car subscription not only offers shorter durations but also much more flexibility with smaller kilometre packages.

Choosing and switching kilometre packages

The kilometre packages apply on a monthly basis – ideal if you’re planning a road trip or, on the flip side, if you’ll be away and won’t need the car. Monthly packages give you the flexibility to adjust your plan one month in advance. Due to Carvolution’s billing cycle, changes only become visible in the app two months later – so don’t worry if you don’t see the update right away.

Another great benefit: you can balance kilometres across different months. If you drive less one month, you can use the unused kilometres in another month – or vice versa. At the end of your subscription, we look at the total kilometres over the entire term.

What if I go over my kilometre limit?

You’re allowed to exceed your total kilometre allowance, but you’ll pay for the additional kilometres. If you already know you’ll exceed your package by quite a bit, it’s always better to upgrade the kilometre package – it’s cheaper than paying for the extra kilometres.

How do kilometre packages affect the total price?

Depending on the chosen package, your subscription price will increase or decrease. Generally speaking, more driving equals more wear and tear – and that means a higher depreciation. That’s why kilometres have a big impact on the total cost. The best way to see your exact price is to configure your dream car directly on our website.

How can I adjust my package and what should I keep in mind?

You can easily manage your kilometre package and the rest of your configuration through the Carvolution app. You’ll gain access to the app as soon as you receive your all-inclusive Carvolution car.

Make sure to adjust your kilometre package a few weeks in advance and before the start of the next month. Otherwise, the current package will continue to apply. Also, just a friendly reminder – changes will only appear in the app after a 2-month delay.
